To hunt or to be hunted - that's the life that Kimiko Iwahara lives. For her, it's to hunt the paranormal or to be hunted by these creatures of the conjuring darkness.
As a young rising necromancer, Kimiko's own kind casts her out, believing Kimiko would be the downfall of their powerful society. Forced into the wilderness to fend for herself, Kimiko has to scavenge for food, money, and shelter. But what they don't know is that Kimiko has powers beyond the average necromancer.

On one of their cases, Naru's team was dispatched to the dark forest south of Japan. The forest harbors many ghosts, which are causing trouble for the neighboring village. Descending deeper into the forest, they stumble upon a young female who has a mysterious aura shrouding her - one that screams danger.
The team feels drawn to the young girl and are determined to help her. Naru and Lin are determined to uncover her secrets and powers, but it's difficult when she's forcing everyone out.
With the addition of a strong female necromancer to the team, Naru, Mai and the others will have a series of difficult and life-threatening cases waiting to be solved.
