At the tender age of nineteen, Conner Striker headed off to the Marine Corps. Her brother, Zach Striker, was a Marine until you died in combat, in Afghanistan. A gifted Marine, Conner was aware that she had some big shoes to fill. But little did she know what was in store for her. Conner was twenty five when it all hit and now she is on a journey for answers to all that has happened. She's lost and confused. One moment she's on a killing spree to protect her beloved country and the people in it, then the next, everything is dark and quite. Read to find out what happened to Conner and how she struggles to survive in the death filled world. She is no longer the deadliest thing on Earth. There's a new threat.

No remembrances of their past life. When Francesca's state is found to no longer be secure, she finds her and her family, far past the "safe" borders to which the President has proclaimed. What dangerous fate will Francesca be tossed into?
