"So all I'm hearing is that I'm winning," I said, smiling at him.
"Is everything a competition with you? I'm just trying to live here."
"There are two types of people: life's winners and life's losers. I've been a loser for way too long now, and no one's going to stop me from evening the score."
He shook his head. "You've lost a few games, metaphorically. That doesn't make you a loser."
"That sounds like loser talk. And trust me, without me, you'd be losing everything."
"I've been saying that for years, and you're just now beginning to believe it?"
"Viktor, I've always known it, but that's what I'm trying to fix. We're going to be winners together, you and me, and whoever stands in our way is about to get steamrolled. Maybe I'm a bitch, but fuck it. I'm going to be the winningest bitch you've ever known."
Amanda Jayne has goals, many goals, but most of them revolve around getting her close friend Viktor to score enough of them to get drafted into the NHL.
After her graduation from Madison High, she has her sight set on Winterview University, the only college to accept her given her disciplinary record. But it also happens to be the school of her dreams, because of a promise she made to Viktor once upon a time.
But when unforeseen changes are thrown at Amanda and her loved ones, how is she going to make those goals fit into the new circumstances?

"Holy shit guys," Anne said in a low tone, "I still cannot believe we were able to graduate last month."
"You already said that a thousand times Anne. Try saying that again one more time and this whole thing will be a fluke tomorrow." Jess answered jokingly.

Anne graduated from senior year a few months ago. She was going to college with her two best friends and everything was going well with her dad. Ever since her mom died last year, she and her dad were trying to pick up the pieces of what's left of them.
Everything was perfect until she wakes up one morning to find her dead mom alive, her best friend still doesn't have a boyfriend and also the fact that she has to start senior year all over again. It was crap from then on.
Will she change the future? Do things differently or keep it the same way as it was before?
