"So all I'm hearing is that I'm winning," I said, smiling at him.

"Is everything a competition with you? I'm just trying to live here."

"There are two types of people: life's winners and life's losers. I've been a loser for way too long now, and no one's going to stop me from evening the score."

He shook his head. "You've lost a few games, metaphorically. That doesn't make you a loser."

"That sounds like loser talk. And trust me, without me, you'd be losing everything."

"I've been saying that for years, and you're just now beginning to believe it?"

"Viktor, I've always known it, but that's what I'm trying to fix. We're going to be winners together, you and me, and whoever stands in our way is about to get steamrolled. Maybe I'm a bitch, but fuck it. I'm going to be the winningest bitch you've ever known."

Amanda Jayne has goals, many goals, but most of them revolve around getting her close friend Viktor to score enough of them to get drafted into the NHL.

After her graduation from Madison High, she has her sight set on Winterview University, the only college to accept her given her disciplinary record. But it also happens to be the school of her dreams, because of a promise she made to Viktor once upon a time.

But when unforeseen changes are thrown at Amanda and her loved ones, how is she going to make those goals fit into the new circumstances?

Ironic considering her brother was renowned around the town of Derry for his rebelliousness. But there was absolutely no doubt that the younger sibling of the two was a loser. No one wanted to be her friend in fear that she was just as bitchy as her brother, no boy wanted to be on the receiving end of a protective threat from Henry Bowers and in between making sure she lived through the day and avoiding unwanted confrontation, Amanda didn't do too well in school. The future didn't look bright. Yet she had cursed herself with the hope that one day, outside of Derry, she could make something of herself. Big dreams and a big heart would make a big success. And although everyone around her told her it was impossible, a group of friends she miraculously made over the summer had great expectations for her. However, these friendships are put to the test and threatened when a horror from the sewers of Derry unleashes itself on the town during the summer that Amanda had planned to spend lazily reading books all the time. The holidays turned out to be much more eventful than she had originally planned. Stanley Uris x Female OC IT 2017

"Do you have any idea how damn frustrating you are?" He trapped me between him and the wall. Stubbornly, I looked squarely at him, "You say this like it's news to you." He pursed his lips, clenched his jaw, and stared at me with darkened eyes before he closed the gap between us. I stared at him squarely as I felt his body heat radiated off me, my lips parted and my breathing picked up a notch. He placed one hand on the wall and brought his lips an inch away from mine as the other hand trailed up my arms, "I am going to make you feel my frustration." I ran my finger along his jaw and dared him with my eyes, "I'm Mila," I grinned, "You can try but we both know you won't succeed." He ran his thumb over my bottom lip, "Don't take my love for you as weakness," he stated and captured my lips with a fiery kiss. The road to love for Mila and Mitchell wasn't easy, but they finally reached their destination after many bumps along the way.
