The four clans have been settled in a new location for many moons now, carrying on traditions our ancestors have not. When kits are ready to be apprenticed, they all travel with their medicine cats to the moonpool. There they will meet with Starclan cats and will be informed which clan they are destined to be in. This keeps the celestial balance among the clans.
This is the story of Thunderclan leader's kit, Rosepaw, who is sorted into Shadowclan.
Each clan is based on a hogwarts house-
Gryffindor represents Thunderclan,
Slytherin represents Shadowclan,
Ravenclaw represents Riverclan,
Hufflepuff represents Windclan.
-Each house's characteristics are reflected into their clan.
