Soon, Boruto overheard the Kages talking about killing him to save the world. After hearing that, Boruto convinced himself that him dying is the only way to save the world. Without any sleep or properly taking care of himself, Boruto slowly slipped into multiple mental and physical illnesses, eventually attempting to kill himself. He was saved by Tsunade and Sakura.
