Well look at that, somebody actually picked up my book. If you're reading this, then hopefully you know what bullshit you're about to get into:

My life.

My name is Brook Hope, I was adopted by a cop named John Steward at the age of 7 because I was involved in some sort of case - one he still won't tell me about. The background search revealed no family, so he took me in, I've been with him ever since.

We don't have much, but it's enough to get by. He has to work most of the time and I have homework to keep me busy. I suppose when you're alone most of the time you get used to handling yourself.

And now, if you're still reading, we get to the actual beginning of my life.
