When a person with magic inside them turns 16 that magic is released. When that happens the young witch/warlock is sent to the magic academy to practice and control their power. Each person has a specialized area that there magic is based upon. Also the new witch/warlock has a familiar, a beast that is linked with their soul, and they must train with them.
