They were playmates. She has liked him for almost half her life. Eve Denning has loved Avery Hall since they lived next to each other when she was eight years old. Then all of a sudden he ups and moves, and Eve never sees him again. That is until eight years later, when Avery is once again back in her life. Now nineteen years old, Eve is still nowhere near Avery’s heart; and added to this chaos is his pretty girlfriend, plus Eve’s very persistent (not to mention gorgeous) admirer.
