Well, except for Lia Michaels. Everyone else found their soulmate at the age of seven in this world. But not her. She pretended to be like everyone else, being able to see color. But everything was that boring shade of black and white. She thought she'll never find that special someone anymore. So she stopped looking. For the past five years, she stopped. She let everything passed by, she embraced the black and white.

In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm.
