Most people gasp when they see Taehyung's soulmark, the words he's destined to hear his soulmate say when they first meet: "Oh, fuck no." The words have been printed on his skin since the day he was born. People tend to assume he waves them off because he's used to reading the words on his skin, immune in the way other people who have unfortunate soul marks are. But that isn't it. With a blinding smile, he laughs fondly at the words. "I'm sure it'll make sense when it happens. Who knows? Maybe I'll spill coffee on them on the day of a really important interview they're running late for and this is what they'll say." He knows, in the end, it doesn't matter. If things go wrong in the beginning, they have all the time in the world to patch it up. He's never had a reason to be nervous so he doesn't think twice when following a dare by Jimin to use a cheesy pick up line on Jeon Jeongguk. He never worried about meeting his soulmate, but he also never thought his soulmate would reject him. * in which Taehyung is determined to win over his soulmate. But, in real life, it doesn't exactly work that way.
