It was but a whisper, yet so profound that it reverberated in Saeren's being like the undulation of thunder in the heavens. Such was the forewarning of the Retribution-a manifestation of the spirit world's imbalance.
There was also the Reconciliation; who was of the same manner of being, yet fated to restore harmony to the realms.

An elusive "King of the Outcasts" becomes the mastermind behind the rebalancing scheme. As the half-brother of the face of the Retribution, Saeren is widely mistrusted. He seeks to quell the forces of his kin and restore the earth to unity through the Divine's pawn-her Reconciliation.

Saeren's rise to power is perceived as a threat by the newly self-elected "King" of Istalia. Once the pinnacle of Raël, the city has fallen readily with the death of its true king and the disappearance of his scion. Saeren has an agenda to restore the wayward Prince to the throne and cause a cessation in Raël's brutal civil war.
