This story was originally posted in my other book, 'The Hobbit Imagines IV - 2016'. But I found out that each story can only have 200 parts. So I moved the chapters here so that I would be able to finish the story.
The story itself is about the Company who are still at Rivendell. Gandalf gets fed up with a lot of the dwarves and changes them into babies. Something goes wrong and instead of changing back into adults the next day they have to go through all their life stages again. Each taking one and a half days to go through.
Chaos isn't far away.

In Time

It becomes much more problematic than your usual adventure wherein the reader is a skin changer with alpha blood that allows her to shift into any creature; all she has to do is merely look at the animal she wants to turn into. Along with this comes soul bound mates-that are a natural thing for skin changers, likewise for the dwarves it is finding their one. How will Thorin behave when he discovers his one in the powerful skin changer? He says he'll wait till the quest is over but can he make it that long? Everyone knows that Dwarf women are not the prettiest and look just like Dwarf men, but there is one dwarf that has the beauty of an Elven Queen. Her name is Dakota. Even though she is gorgeous she got picked at a lot. She was different from the other Dwarfs. They said she was a disgrace to her kind. She lived with only her mother and she had no siblings. She didn't know a lot about her father. She only knew that he was an Elf. She had never seen him. She had no contact with. She didn't know where he was or what he was doing. She didn't even know his name.... But she didn't want to know who he was. She thought he was a heartless bastard. Her mother met him at a bar and they fell in love. She got pregnant and she told the elf. He was shocked and ran away from his unborn child. Nor Dakota nor her mother knew exactly why he left. It broke her mothers heart. And when her mother told Dakota, it broke her heart too. She still found the happiness and strength to go on. Dakota's mother worked as a maid for Dís the granddaughter of the king Thror. This is how Dakota and Thorin met. Thorin is Dís' brother. They have been best friend form a very young age. They never left each other's side. Even when they got older they remained best friends.
