Sam's sister Allison is murdered by being caught in crossfire. Sam sets out to find the person who killed her sister. She suspects one of her friends so she invites them to a cabin in the mountains. In a fight on the side of a mountain Lenice pushes Gretchen off. Consumed by grief Miles ends up hanging himself on a tree in the backyard. In her insane mental state Sam kills almost everyone else, Lenice and some others somehow escape to tell the story of the cabin on the mountain
