We've all been there. Everyone has their moments when they think someone else is getting a bit too much attention. Like you are just the shadow of them, doing everything you can but never getting noticed. ...Okay, that got a bit too deep. But you get me, right? Yeah, I know the feeling, after all I am just a sidekick. So basically a worse version of the main character. You could say my life was heading smoothly, normally or whatever, before this new boy came to town. (No, this isn't a romance story so get those weird thoughts out of your head right now!) I guess you could say he changed my life forever. (Typical romance book line but this is still not a romance book!). He made me enter the world of... What do you call it? Stories? Books? Films? I dunno which one. All I know is that he is the main character and I'm tagging along. Yea, yea, I'll get to that part eventually! You know I'm actually surprised why you haven't clicked away yet, this book is poorly written - after all it lacks the amazing writing of a main character - and will probably be the weirdest book you have ever read. Anyways... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Prober blurb starting here~ When a guy by the name of Cyrus Kerloy comes to town, he suddenly awakens the secrets in Roselock (which is the cringe worthy name of my town). Soon, the mysteries of the place begin increasing at a noticeable rate and the two of us are forced to take action. But the thing is, a book is not a book when at least one character knows it is a book. Why? Because when one character knows it's a book he or she messes up the entire plot and the 'happy ending' is just not always available anymore. Look, I know that was proper blurb short, but meh. Lots of blurbs are short. So go on and read this weird book if you wanna see what things are like from the sidekicks view. ...Bye

"I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHΓ‰!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face πŸ˜†" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance
