This is just for fun and if their are flaws that is ok. This can be good practice for me as a develop my skills as a writer. Anyway onto the story. A mermaid named Doria who has a fascination with history. She'd spend hours on end looking for something new. One day while searching outside of the kingdom for artifacts she meets a siren named Morogh. Morogh like all other sirens are forbidden to go near the kingdom. So Doria not knowing what to do swam back to the kingdom and just returned home. Morogh at the first sight of Doria he was lovestrucked her beauty and curiosity. At night where most citizens of the aquatic kingdom would be sleeping Morogh would be singing a song for Doria hoping one day she will find him and hopefully have the same feeling as he has for her. Will Morogh finally get the lover he wanted? Or would Doria shut him down.

A Mermaid for the Lonely
A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school. I've used her character to help me through tough times and I am revisiting her. I want to make sure I have a place to remember her story, and make it a happier one than before.Complete
