Inès does not speak. It's not that she can't, she just doesn't like to. She hasn't spoken to anyone outside of her comfort zone, which is limited to roughly 15 people per century, in centuries and prefers to stay out of the surrounding supernatural community. She knows they talk about her anti-social tendencies but she doesn't really care, she just wants to live a peaceful life then die.
Well that is until Inès finds a young woman on her doorstep, starving, beaten and quickly dying. Not to mention she's a werewolf, claiming to be running from her chosen mate. Suddenly Inès is thrown into the supernatural community full force, but one thing she knows is she can't let her demons find her; they'll destroy everything she loves. They've done it once, she can't let it happen again.
