"Are you scared of the dark?" the smirk was evident on his face as he casually leaned against my door frame.
"No." I replied slowly. He grinned like a great white shark.
"Are you sure?"
"Of course I'm sure!" I snapped. "Jesus Seth, it's eleven o'clock. How'd you even get in my room?"
"If you're not afraid of the dark how'd I scare you?"
"I don't know, maybe because you showed up in my room at 11 o'clock!"
"Oh, I see." He nodded still smirking. "So you're scared of what's in the dark?"
"I'm pretty sure I'm just scared of you." I spat
"I'm not that scary sweetheart" he winked.

Moving schools in the middle of the semester is hard enough for 15 year old Blythe, but discovering a random boy standing in her room? That's a bit much. Especially a boy who knows more about her life then even she does. Little does she know the boy has a secret, a secret bigger then she could ever even imagine. Maybe even big enough to change her life.
