The society kind of makes this ' box ' for all us new generations, even though it says we're all equal now. It says we're all beautiful, we're all smart, we're all the american dream in our own way. But I can feel the ugly stares. I can see the judgement. I can hear the unclear whispers. And I'm quite alright with it, really. I've learned to live with the fact that not everyone loves me. But even though I am, she's not. Vera's really not okay with it. It's like she's breaking her bones and twisting her spine to fit into The Box. She says I can't stop her, so I'll write her down for every detail and emotion she's worth. Welcome to the unvarnished story of Vera Adler's attempt to fit inside The Box.
