The society kind of makes this ' box ' for all us new generations, even though it says we're all equal now. It says we're all beautiful, we're all smart, we're all the american dream in our own way. But I can feel the ugly stares. I can see the judgement. I can hear the unclear whispers.
And I'm quite alright with it, really. I've learned to live with the fact that not everyone loves me. But even though I am, she's not. Vera's really not okay with it. It's like she's breaking her bones and twisting her spine to fit into The Box. She says I can't stop her, so I'll write her down for every detail and emotion she's worth.

"You're beautiful," he looked me dead in the eyes and I saw that he wasn't joking. He stood up and pulled me up with him. "You are the most beautiful girl I laid my eyes on," he said. "Then you must not have looked at a lot of girls," I responded looking at our feet. He pulled me into an embrace and put his hand on my hips. Dan is hungry, cold and fascinated with the girl that broke into his apartment on a Thursday night.
