"You don't get it." I say, my voice breaking as I clench my fists, and closed my eyes. "This won't work. We won't work." I whisper, my black eyes blurring with unshed tears.
"This isn't goodbye." He said, his voice was strong, head held up high. it made me almost believe what he said was true.
I smiled sadly at him.
"Oh, but it is." I didn't want to do this, frighten him, but it was the only thing I could do to make him stay away, make him leave me.
He said something else but I was long gone by then, my eyes only saw red, blood, I knew what he saw, my black eyes now clouded completely with black, no white's of my eyes visible. My fingers curled as long gray razor like nails, sprouted from my fingers, my skin going even lighter then usual. My hair was black, surrounding me and moving like fog, like smoke, curling around me. From my back I could feel my wings sprouting, darker then anything he had seen, anything he would see, he would be blinded from the sight.
