All Evangeline has ever known was to fight against the First Order. She grew up at a Jedi Academy with Luke Skywalker, but left when she learned her father needed her help back in Geonosis.
Years pass and Evangeline's father passed away in a battle against the First Order. She learned to fly and became an excellent spy, for the most part. She stopped practicing the force, she felt had no use for it.

The night Kylo Ren was born, he destroyed half of the Jedi Knights training under Luke Skywalker. The other half he gave a tantalizing offer: join him and live, or die alongside their brethren.
For many of them the choice was easy: Salvation.
Over the years those who joined him died off: they tried to over throw him or showed a weakness that was exploited.
All except Serena. She fell under Kylo's wing and latched on. They grew together, gained power together, fought side by side as equals, and friends.
Serena was his confidant, she was the whisper in his ear. For that reason, she was even more terrorizing than Kylo Ren himself.
She stayed with him despite all he had done- all that he had made her do. She knew nothing else, only him, only the First Order.
Until she met the Resistance's Best Pilot, and found a way out.
