Aldwyn was a young boy when he moved to the kingdom of Sussex. Now, 15 years later, he has taken up the job of kingdom healer. The only problem: Aldwyn has a foretold prophecy that he must keep secret, or he could face certain death.
Eldric is the prince of Sussex. Wise as he can be, he still lacks sympathy for others. As he faces a moral dilemma of whether to stay strong for his father or be caring towards others, the kingdom is faced with a great evil lurking about that he must destroy. His problem: he requires a stronger presence to help him do it.
Aldwyn and Eldric have more in common than they know. It is up to them whether or not they will see past their differences and fight together. That decision will decide the final fate of Sussex.
