Ashlyn grew up in an unstable household. Her parents were overly protective with her. After all, they were snobby business people. They didn't allow her to go to school, not even private school, so she didn't have to meet any friends or boys to break her heart, so they homeschooled her...barely. They were always working... or smoking. They spoiled her like she was a princess, but she was never happy with anything that they gave her. She hates the idea of being treated like a pretty princess that can't have any emotions other than happiness. The only thing she loved about her family was her grandmother, Sharon. Her family would visit her every weekend. She lived in a normal sized house, and treated Ashlyn like a real person. She showed her kindness, played with her, joked with her, and they talked about everything together. That, was the love Ashlyn deserves. One Christmas, when they visited Grandma Sharon, she gave Ashlyn a big stuffed lion. She had made it herself, with extra love. Ashlyn named him Mochi. She took Mochi everywhere she went. But when Grandma Sharon finally goes to the other side, Ashlyn can't stand to be in her house anymore. She runs away, not knowing her destination. The only thing she knows now, is that she can't rely on anyone she knew now. It's just Mochi and her.
