Many colonies and planets collapsed into wars once Lotor took power, keeping Voltron busy. Lance eventually returns to the team, only to find Allura had replaced him. He felt distanced from the team, his only connection being Keith, his boyfriend. Can Lance free himself from the Prince's intoxicating charm? As their journey goes on, Lance, Keith, and Lotor become an inseparable group, until Lotor is forced to step down. They all go in different directions, some to certain death, some to exile. Keith has always had anger problems but now knowing of his galra side and allure hating him he feels lonely and his depression slowly starts to creep up on him and he is unable to control his anger or the galra in him until one day he accidentally hurts Lance.
