A search for inquiry turns sour. What was once all he dreamed of, soon becomes a nightmare. Needless to say, this dragon's life isn't so boring anymore.
Moray, a twelve year old Night/Sea/RainWing hybrid, lives on the beach of the Rainforest Kingdom and has spent most of his life in peaceful solitude.
Hatched in the rainforest under the moon's glow, as a dragonet born partially of NightWing genetics, this gave Moray the power of mind reading. But, the mutations of cross-breeding have turned it into something unique.
Moray thinks his powers are useless. He has no idea how crucial they will be.
Moray's mind sense draws him to a mysterious creature in the rainforest. It wasn't another dragon, and yet his mind could pick up the creature. He had only read about this cryptic animal in scrolls. A scavenger.
But his new-found interest is tragically ripped from him. He seeks to find this elusive beast that has slipped through his talons and finally satisfy his need for answers.
But has he gotten himself into more than he can handle? There's more to uncover than what a scavenger's favorite food is. Secrets and undiscovered dragon powers await to be revealed.

Wings of Fire; Torn Between Sides
This book is a little outdated and will be getting a rewrite soon! ------------------ Fighting, dragons were always fighting in the Rainforest. Not physically, but verbally. The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T.
