The Legendary Kabitome: A RWBY Story
Eight hundred years ago, a young man had been exiled to the mountain temple of Yori. Here he spent the remainder of his life in constant meditation and training. Although centuries have passed, legends say that his spirit continues to reside in the temple. Those who are exiled to the very same mountain top are said to be trained both in mind and body by his Kitsune. These warriors then return to the world with the terrible curse of knowledge. These warriors, although revered for their bravery and wisdom, are marked by the very weapon they must wield, the Teskai, and the very armor they wear. The armor of a Kabitome. Enrolled into Beacon under her deceased sister's name, Hanako Tokugawa strives to fulfill the dream of her younger sibling and, in accordance to the oath she had taken, achieve enlightenment under her own flowering tree. Hanako knows all too well that her path is anything but smooth, but the twist and turns that have yet to come will surely be of surprise. I do not own RWBY nor it's characters, RWBY is a Web Series and Product of Rooster Teeth.

The children pilot the machinery for comfort The children are given meaning in their utility The children are divine soldiers in a holy war There is no resistance but love, no rebellion but a quiet, solemn touch in the shadows. There is no purpose but love, no divinity but your embrace. The machine does not give you purpose, your purpose is your own. "Why do you fight, pilot David?" Demon Slayer - Pathfinder's Demise
The world is dimmer. The flame has been extinguished. The death of Kyojuro Rengoku, the vibrant and unwavering Flame Hashira, sends a shockwave of despair through the Demon Slayer Corps. In the grim aftermath, the title lies vacant, a monument too great for any one soul to fill. Yet, someone must. The demons do not mourn; they multiply. Haijima Renji, holder of the Kinoe rank, is thrust into the blinding vacancy left by a legend. He is a skilled warrior, but skill is a pale shadow next to Rengoku's radiant sun. Plagued by the echoing doubt-"I am not worthy"-Renji is a man condemned by his own respect for the dead. But when the night bleeds with terror and the innocent scream, his own inadequacy becomes a luxury he can no longer afford. Clutching a blade that feels heavier than ever, he steps forward. Not to become a new sun, but to become a desperate, burning spark in the all-consuming darkness. He knows this path may lead only to a martyr's grave. The question is not if he can replace the Flame Hashira, but whether his own fragile flame will be enough to light the way... or if it will be snuffed out forever.
