Aurora is most well-known as the beautiful dreamer, after being abandoned when she was thirteen she was taken in by Mr. Drosselmayer, a man with two grandchildren of his own, young mischievous Tommy and lovely Clara who dreams of adventures as much as Aurora does. 

The two girls hit it off right away, growing closer with each passing day. Until one Christmas when the Mouse King gets to Aurora first and shrinks her down to kidnap and hold hostage. Poor Aurora is frightened and alone, wondering when her best friend will come to her aid. But the Mouse King feels otherwise, he's enchanted by her sweet voice and captured by her beauty. As much as he hates to admit it, he fears he's fallen in love with her and will do anything to keep her close...
