Definition of Colorblindness : unable to distinguish certain colors, or (rarely in humans) any colors at all.

Why is it that we take advantage of colors? We depend on the colors in line of our vision so much that we can't really imagine a world without it. Bright red stop signs, lime traffic lights, luminescent tangerine fires but what about peril, danger?
Danger doesn't have a color for most of us. Some may say its red, others may say blue or even gray. To Violet, a colorblind college student, the color of danger is not a something you can view. Danger to her is the abysmal depths of her thoughts, which are tainted with hateful idea. Why? She may be colorblind, but she is prodigious at describing what she sees. Danger to her are deep, hateful thoughts because hate is passion, and what is a woman's feelings if not a scornful weapon of passion, lust and secrecy?
