"Is it worth doing something you dislike only to make someone else happy? I want you take a glance at the smile on that person's face, and you can be the judge of that."

Ashley Lindds is nothing more than a typical 17-year-old who needs high school credits. As a volunteer opportunity, Ashley takes a job working at a Children's Hospital reading to the kids. When she meets 6-year-old Lily, a cancer patient, her heart melts. Lily requests one thing of Ashley: To become a princess. At first, Ashley turns down the offer. But when she gets a call that Lily is in critical condition, Ashley will do anything to keep her happy...even if it means becoming royalty. Will all the fancy dresses, shoes, and princes (Prince Toby in particular) get to Ashley's head? It turns out, Lily's idea of a princess is much different than what Ashley had in mind.
