Evie Littlewoods is a threat to society.

Or so that's how the media loves to portray the 'missing' girl.

Five years ago, Evie had a role to play in the murders of multiple people, including her own father. Now aged seventeen and returning to her home in England, she vows to keep the truth under wraps and not allow her past to catch up with her, again.

But the witty and charismatic future lawyer Rhys Millers seems to have other plans. He quickly pieces together the puzzle of events leading to Evie's frightful actions that night and amidst it all discovers his own connection to Evie's past.

Will Rhys and Evie ever be able to move on from the truth of their twisted past or will Rhys decide that Evie deserves to be put behind bars for good?
