When Mrs. Petunia Wilson left her hometown to give her newly-wedded husband's aunt a thank you gift, she encounters difficulties with her departure. Her husband proceeds to send letters containing information that might scar her and her future. She finds hidden secrets that lie within the crevices of the Aunt's manor. Accordingly, she meets a young gentleman that seems to get on her nerves, quite frequently. Will Petunia stay at his aunt's house and avoid the miseries of her husband's indulgences, or return to her small cottage while withholding her struggles of what she has heard?

Sarah is moving west with her family. Having just turned eighteen, she was perfectly content to stay in the town where she grew up, however, she has no choice but to go along.
