Cursed By Magic

400 years ago, during the dragon civil war, a choice was made. A betrayal that would cost a side their mere existence. It is said that among the chaos of dragons battling dragons, a demented Celestial Wizard created the most feared being the world has ever seen. That being was the black dragon, otherwise known as Acnologia.

Hundreds of years had passed since the war, the world changing in many ways. But as time trudged on, the Celestial Wizard population dwindled to nearly none at all. The ones whom survived in civilization, were forced into hiding. Others, however went so lucky.

In a world were simply baring this magic would label you as the most vile and twisted criminal, without so much of a question, a young girl is snatched from her mother due to being born with such a thing. To be imprisoned for the remainder of her life until the council decided it would be time to end her life.

After years and years, the girl turned into a young woman whom endured ever form of torture and humiliation the sadistic guards could think of. Despite never once causing harm to anyone or anything with the misjudged magic she seemed to be cursed with. Too soon, however, she realized her life she had not yet gotten to live would end.

With the help of her only loyal friends, her Celestial Spirits, she escapes and flees to the city of Magnolia. Where her most trusted friends believes is the safest place on earthland for her to be. There she falls into the hands of one of the most powerful guilds in Fiore, Fairy Tail. This sends her life spiraling in a direction she never in a million years would have imagined.

Giving her a chance to prove what she had known since she was old enough to talk. Her kind was not a danger to the world. With her free, she would fight until her death if she had to, to make sure no one else was cursed by this magic.
