When her new found dad, Marilyn Manson, shows up out of nowhere after he mom's accident he brings her along to get her mind off of everything, but soon has to go on tour. Not want to bring her out of fear that she can't handle it and wanting to give her something normal, he asks his friend Chris from Motionless In White to "Babysit" her. Starting her new life off with Chris and the band, Doll and Chris start to have some feeling towards each other and it sets off a chain of reactions. Will Doll be able to get love out of pain?

Chris Cerulli's best female friend has been Melanie Dawson since they were in childhood. They never ever saw themselves as anything more than that. They had an absolutely wonderful friendship together though. After being friends for over twenty-five years, they'd been through pretty much everything together. Chris was even up front with the bridesmaids when Melanie got married. Melanie is a pathologist (a doctor that performs autopsies on dead bodies) and is often busy with her work. Chris is obviously busy with the band too, but he and Melanie still managed to keep their friendship in tact and Chris was even close with Melanie's daughter, Sadie, and friends with Melanie's husband, John.
