(So to note, this is a story that is reboot of 'The World that Was'. Only I wont' be using OC's in this, instead I'm going for something different. With a clearer idea of what I want for this prequel and the deeper lore I am coming up with for the Gods and Men series.)

PREQUEL TO: GODS AND MEN

There was a time when squids ruled the world, where there was more than one religion, and the people lived in fear of it all. Sky is a simple orphan run away, at the age of ten he left the cruelty of his hometown and the women who watched over them. He made a way for him, learning to survive best he could.

But that all changes when the overlord, Squid King Evan, sends out a bounty for his death. On what grounds? He believes Sky will be the reason for his downfall. 

Now Sky is having more troubles. News of a rebellion is stirring among the people, and Sky is caught in the crossfire of it all. Being the trigger when they hear there is one the Squid King fears. He seeks and end to this, seeing no other reason but to join a group he barely knows and taking odds and ends jobs to keep himself feed.
