Seventeen year-old Mia is part of a criminal organisation called The Coppers which just so happens to be a family business. She is getting the hang of the 'grown up' stuff she was never allowed to do and is grateful she is contributing to her family's well being until the day she turns eighteen and is told to make her first kill. She has to shoot someone to prove she's worthy of membership of The Coppers. Except there's a twist; the person she has to shoot is her friend from her high school, Ethan. Will she be able to do what is right? Or will she defy her principles set by the most merciless criminals in the world?
