Consider this a Closing Time prequel.  This came about because of what I just learned this morning about the night of September 25, 1982, and its premiere broadcast of Saturday Night Live's eighth season.  It is told from the perspective of one of the cast members, as this was her very first appearance on the show, in fact.  It is as fictitious an account as the rest of the "Year of the Cat" series, but I just found this to be a terribly interesting coincidence.
