The resistance who had to leave their base on D'Qar are now searching for the last Rebellion base. Poe and Finn are send on a mission to deactivate the tracking system of The First Order. During their mission things take a different turn when someone from the last Rebellion base gets captured by Kylo Ren. If Kylo gets his hands on her before they do the rebellion might has come to an end. During it all Poe finds himself falling in love with the girl which could make things a whole lot worse.
The last battle of light and dark has been awaken. The war is coming to an end. But wether it's light or dark that's remaining still needs to be decided.
This book continues after some of the things that happened with The Force Awakens. The rest is of the story is made up by me.

p.s This is a Star Wars fanfiction that takes place after TROS with minor alterations and essentially what I'd do to take the story further and explore potential story arcs. This is primarily a Damerey fanfiction but I wanted to build up the rest of the characters. The Light and the Dark - A Star Wars Story
*this is a complete AU that takes place in the Star Wars universe* Finn is a Jedi trained under Grandmaster Luke Skywalker after deflecting the First Order and discovering his abilities. He has trained for years and helps the Resistance fight against the First Order to bring back peace into the galaxy. Rey was a scavenger on Jakku until she was taken in by Kylo Ren and was trained by him to become a Sith Lord. She brings terror throughout the galaxy and won't stop until the Resistance is dead. But Rey knows that her destiny is to rule the galaxy while Finn's is to help restore the Jedi Order. Will Rey turn to the Light? Will Finn turn to the Dark? The Revival of The Force
After the big fight against Palpatine and the Final Order, there isn't any time to take a break. People need help all over the galaxy and a New System must be reestablished. While Rey desperately tries to talk to Ben's Force Ghost, she doesn't have time to concentrate on it either. Her future as a Jedi Master lies ahead. Rey finds Jedis, lightsabers, friends and enemies; discovers truths, stories and secrets. All these distractions in one aim: forget her grief and ancestor. Poe creates plans to prove that he can be the next General. Finn wants to protect Rey from her Dark Side and repeatedly tries to make her understand his secret. In the Council, he defends the fate of the stormtroopers though many in the Resistance seek the destruction of the rebuilding Empire more. Is there any way to bring Ben Solo back? Something Rey nor Ben dare to think. Nevertheless it's obvious that it is what both of them want the most in the darkest place of their hearts.
