All I heard was the crunch of metal and shattering glass. I screamed. Intense pain shot up my leg and on my head. Once the feeling of flipping stopped I could barely lift my head I was dizzy. Blood impaired my vision but I looked over at Aaron's lifeless body. He has a large shard of glass through his heart and his leg was broken in twisted metal. "Aaron!" I started screaming. The intense pain of grief and physical pain over whelmed me. "No! NO! Don't leave me!" I screamed. Everything was washed in red and every movement I made sent racks of pain through me whole body. I was aware of sirens calling out in the night. The flashing red and blue lights came to save me. "Honey where does it hurt?" A man asked. He got out the jaws of life and I was pulled away on a stretcher. I was restrained with straps because I was thrashing and screaming. "AARON! Save him!" I sobbed. Between the blood and tears all I could see was his pale dead body being covered with a sheet and put on a stretcher. "take me instead!" I demanded. "It's okay honey you'll be okay." The man reassured. But I never would be. Aaron, my best friend for years was gone.
