Ambivalent- having mixed feelings; uncertain; in a dilemma; undecided. That was how Katherine felt after the kidnapping. The kidnapping were she was injected with spider venom making her a super soldier in the making or a future spider woman. Her normalcy in society has left her and she has no idea how to use her powers for good after she escapes her kidnapper. She soon seeks out Spider-Man seven years after he defeated The Vulture for help. Eventually when she finds him he graciously accepts her plea for help, only if she promises not to interfere with his work or his life outside of the mask. But when she starts to fall for him and her kidnapper resurfaces back in town, she has to make a decision between love or life.

He needs to remind the world who he is and needs to go back to fighting crime, just this time without his companions. Until his first mission which leads him to find a morally grey character who toils with his morals and feelings in hope that he will eventually move to the darker side since he is all alone.
