Alone.

"You talk too much elf-boy," Arya muttered, her voice hoarse from all the screaming she had done due to the pain of her injuries. Legolas scrunched up his nose in disdain of the nickname, but a smile soon found his way onto his face. "I am not a boy." Her eyes opened then, and her familiar hazel eyes met his striking blue ones. A small smile made itself present on her face as she looked at him, a twinkle of mischief evident in her eyes. "No. You are not." ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ Arya woke up some years ago with a grey-haired wizard leaning over her. She had no memories, no indications that told her who or what she was. With the outer appearances of an elf, but eyes that flash orange and strange symbols that appear on her skin - no one seems able to tell her anything about her past. She joined the quest of Thorin's dwarven company to have something to do, and she quickly became a part of their group. After a long and arduous journey but still a far away from the mountain they stumble into trouble. And whom is there to save her, but a certain Mirkwood prince with long blond hair and a pair of startling blue eyes. With one of them bursting with light, and the other filled with darkness their story will be anything but easy. Miranda has grown up on earth with her parents in their cabin home in the woods. Her mother works surrounded by nature and her father is a businessman. She had a very strict upbringing and has some unique skills for the 21st century. She has always enjoyed fantasy stories. Some of her favorites are the books by J. R. R. Tolkien. What happens when she finds out that the books are not just stories? Join Miranda as she discovers the truth behind her upbringing and her real identity. She will love and she will lose but she will always fight. This book is a fan-fiction work by me. This is book one of two (possibly three) that follow the works by J. R. R. Tolkien.
