After a horrible accident, 16 year-old Isabelle Grace Addison is sent from foster home to foster home. She finally begins to settle down at the home of the Harlem family, where a little 8year-old named Scarlett becomes her best friend. But when alcohol and drugs come into play, they both hit to their feet running. Isabelle tries to piece her life back together, without a foster parent. She begins to live her life alone, but Nicholas Shade, a small town boy decides to take Scarlett under his rich family's wing. But he doesn't know the secret of her past.
