It has been reported that some victims of torture, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being tortured. The only way they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP.

He woke up in a hospital, doesn't know why he's there, doesn't know who he is, doesn't even know how he got there, and he's got a real bad headache. He's got a head wound the size of a baseball, he can't see with his right eye, and no matter how hard he tries, he can't get a straight answer for anything, except that mineshaft workers found him crystalized and immediately flew him to the 'hospital.' Nobody could figure out how long he was in the crystal, and the only thing he could remember was his name. I really hope you enjoy! "What the hell?" The book in my hands glowed, letting out a bright yellow light. I panicked, dropping the book to the floor and began to back up. His voice was muffled by the pillow but not enough that she couldn't hear. She hummed in agreement with a small smile, pushing her book to the side. She walked to her bed and started explaining the details of her favorite book, Deathly Hollows. The boy had learned more about the books from the American girl than he had from the movies or than he ever would if he were to read them. "Oh, you're awake? That good for you" A deep, yet falsely gentle, voice pierced through my turmoil. "Care for another round?' he said giving me a sinister smirk. "No please. I can't take it anymore!
