A Royal Mess

Aspen Royal's life has been a serious of unfortunate events. When she was only two, her parents divorced, which tore her family completely apart. She was forced to leave her Father and two brothers behind, one of those brothers being her twin, never allowed to contact them again. And then only a short fifteen years later, she is involved in a tragic car accident that kills her Mother.

Momless and alone, Aspen is surprised when her Father, a man she hardly knows, calls her not even a day after the wreck to ask her to come back home to live with him and her brothers. Desperate for her family and the life she was snatched away from with absolutely no say so in the matter, she moves back to Crestview, where she finds out that her last name has power. Everyone wants to either be her friend or they want to run away from her.

Aspen starts noticing how everyone around her treats her differently, like she is some kind of royalty. So when the weird killings start and bodies start showing up on her doorstep, literally, she starts digging into her Dad's so called "business." Not only does she find out that her father, along with her brothers, are a part of gang, but she finds out that her Dad and his best friend, are the leaders of the Red Roses, the biggest gang in the California.

One simple choice remains - will she choose to be a part of the family business or will she flee like her Mother did all those years ago?
