It was Monday morning and as per usual I walked into the school and everyone was automatically drawn to me. Of course, they would be, I am Ace Carter son of multibillionaire James Carter. Most talked about person in this school. But today it seemed a bit off like something hanging on everyone's shoulders, I ignored it though. When I arrived at the Performing Arts class I noticed Ms.Baldwin balling her eyes out. It was strange since Ms.Baldwin was the happiest teacher in this hell hole. The bell rang signalling it was time to start class. I started my to the back of the room where my assigned seat was expecting a certain Brown hair beauty to be right beside me, but she wasn't. Furrowing my eyebrow I took a seat.

" I can't believe she actually did it. " Snickers Alice, a girl on the Prom Planning Committee.

" Psh, it was like a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. " Mariah scoffed.

" What a freak. " Laughed Cara

I tapped the guy in front of me.

" What is everyone going on about today?' I asked him with confusion.

" Oh, you didn't hear?" I shook my head.

" Iris Kingsley tried to attempt suicide. " He whispered.

That's when it dawned on me the quiet empty girl that always sat beside me in Performing Arts was someone that needed saving, and I'd be the one to do it.
