84% of the world claims a God fearing religion. Turns out, they're right to be afraid. The legions of Heaven have decided that we aren't exactly what they planned and want to start over. Unfortunately for us, they need a clean slate. Ariel Holmes' only care in a crumbling world is surviving, slinking through shadows and blending in with the still world around him. The haunting screams and burning buildings turn to white noise and he grows content. Until he's captured by a group of rowdy Revolutionists who give him little choice in his future. His stay is violent and grim with little food and even less sleep. A light streams into his world when a deaf bibliophile befriends him and he remembers what warmth feels like. Ariel struggles with the decision of enjoying his time with Cecilia and transitioning like the rest of the world or spending the inevitable little time he has left waging war. Maybe it's a lost cause, maybe it will prove to be his only choice.

*Book #1 In The Crashing Series* A long time ago, people used to think that Earth would be taken over by aliens. That we would all be destroyed from their advanced technology and uncaring demeanor towards Earthlings and our entire mass population in general. That we would be picked off like mice in a locked maze, all fighting to save ourselves, all trying to get to the cheese that was freedom. But we didn't know that the only thing that would destroy us would inevitably be ourselves. We didn't know that our planet was dying before our very eyes and our countries were at constant war with each other, each fighting for more power. More money. More everything. We didn't know....Until it was too late. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Set in the year 2655, Earth has been completely demolished by poverty, famine and war, leaving nothing behind but a handful of survivors and most of the population relocated to space stations. Onboard the Celestial, one of the main stations in the galaxies, is 21 year old Mabel "Mae" Minerva. Forced to board the Celestial as a child many years ago along with her younger sister, Mae has always felt out of place in the galaxy, always preferring to spend her time rebuilding old space equipment then seeking the company of other humans. Though when a rumor is spread that her mother may be alive back on Earth, Mae springs into action to steal an armored spacecraft in hopes to save her mother from an unnatural death back on Earth. But when her miscalculations and malfunctioning ship takes her off course, she crash lands on a planet deemed to be uninhabitable. Until she meets an alien who burns hotter then the sun and who knows too much, and too little, about her kind.
