Madison was told to stay at the sanctuary with her dad after her outpost got attacked. When Madison and her dad found the group that did it she was too distracted by one of the members while Negan was teaching them a lesson. Now Daryl is held as a prisoner under the same roof as her. Will she help him out of the sanctuary or stick with her family?

A stubborn, quiet, almost shy boy looking for his brothers in an apocalypse world with the dead roaming around eating the living. Kill or be killed. He learned to cope with it. Holding out in a hospital after leaving his house he finds comatose Rick Grimes and decides to stay and make sure Rick is taken care of. Shortly after Rick awakes, they run into Morgan and Duane Jones. Over the course of the 11 years of a normal life, Ford had he had been reported missing nearly 13 times and ran away from home, the longest span of time being 3 weeks, nearly a month. He's been out hunting with both his brothers. Normally hiding away in the woods until his brothers found him. Athena was traveling around the country seeing her family after losing her husband in a car accident a year before the fall. She thought that they were perfect for one another and losing him shook her to her core. She was in Georgia when the world started to go to hell. After traveling alone for few months into the apocalypse, she stopped to sleep in the woods when she heard two engines stop late into the night. She went closer to the camp, snapping a twig. Then small whispers. A man with a southern twang (appropriate to the area) spoke in a hushed but urgent tone. Athena just caught the end of what he had been saying: "This isn't a democracy anymore!" Shortly after making her presence known, she gets to know the members of the group she heard whispering little by little, though they are hard to let her in to the group at first. After finally being accepted, she catches the eye of Daryl Dixon, the rugged, silent protector of the group. She is extremely apprehensive to do so after losing her husband only a year ago. But as different as this new world is, as broken and sad, he would want her to find some sort of glimmer of hope. **I do not own the rights to any of The Walking Dead characters. Daryl finds a girl while out on a run, completely alone, and traumatized. She doesn't speak, she hardly sleeps, but Daryl can tell she's tough. Daryl decides to bring her home, and she's attached at his hip. Daryl becomes protective of her and warns anyone that messes with her will wish they didn't. (So this is a lighter story than what I usually right, everyone will have a little humor, it's what happens when Hazel hangs out with people, they feel vulnerable, and share everything with her.
