"Mimosa flower is a symbol of femininity and womanhood, as well as motherhood and caring for others." Change comes in all levels, capacities, and for all reasons. The world is constantly changing to meet the growing needs for society. This collection of short stories is written for the women of this world. The young and the old. The ones are just born into the world and have no idea what is going to happen. To the ones who are of elderly age and have experienced everything that was meant for them. The ones who have had their hearts broken by women and men, friendships built and broken, and the ones who remain to themselves because it is safer that way. There is refuge in these stories. These words sing of the stories of the women around the world who are silent and trying to conform to the needs of society. The words light the loneliness that women face while moving through the different spaces of the world. If you have the chance to find a safe place within the pages of this collection, find peace in knowing that this was meant for you during this time and during this journey you are on. While you may remain quiet and reserved through your struggles, know there are women who will be thunderous for you. Women who you have never met who will remain by your side because they have walked in your shoes.
