I exhaled as I stared at the luminous bright stars, my breath starltled me as it became shaky. A white mist floating nowhere. My chest rattled, I made a wet bone rattling cough as it shook me to my core. It hurt like someone was sitting on me. I knew that I should be dead soon, but not for long. Soon enough my head got heavy. Then my mouth dry. Then I just couldn't blink anymore. I can barley breathe and my lungs are on fire, but I got my wish. Be careful what you may ask for, my manifestation was real. I can now feel myself slip from reality and then to the unknown.
"Vida means 'Life' in Occitan or 'Beloved' in Hebrew, are you loved by your family?" He asked in a gravely voice with a hostile grin, "No, do you have a lover who parades you?" He asked mockingly, "No, and do you KNOW why that IS?" He asked me furiosly. "Because," he whispers, "so no one will be able to love as dearly as I can."
"Azi-" I started but was cut off by his lips, "Sh. Just shut up, God damn it."
Everything faded and went black.
Then I died, but my soul never stayed there.
Ari and Soren's adventures continue as Soren struggles with his new vampiric urges and a coven of witches attempts to recruit Ari for their own ends.
*****
As dark dreams plague Soren, Ari finds his new abilities difficult to control. Something is awakening within him, and as his power grows, he attracts the attention of a group of witches who call themselves the Hecataeon. They believe Ari is an emanation of the goddess Hecate - a physical manifestation of her power - and they want that power for themselves. With their relationship facing challenges from within, Ari and Soren must find a way to unite their strengths before external forces tear them apart.
