Finding your boyfriend dead in his own backyard was one thing. But finding out that he was killed by your abusive father is enough to drive you insane. Lauren Fort was barely 18 when her father went into hiding after her boyfriend Cole was found dead. With the police hot on his trail, he fleds, after warning Lauren to not say anything about him abusing her and that he'll be back for her. As she tried to keep quiet and move on with her life, she meets Ashton Link. Ashton eventually finds out about her secret and persuades her to speak up.
