The Alpha Gathering

The last few years have been very hard, so will the upcoming winter. Everybody's suffered somehow, and lost almost everything. It's no surprise - what's to expect after a war of all packs in the world.
As decided, there'll be the first meeting of all Alphas and Betas of the seven packs from all continents where all the plans for the foreseeable future will be created, such as the law, borders, treaties, etc.
This meeting is also supposed to be a gathering point for all the higher positioned wolfs to have a chance of choosing a mate and couples to go through the mating ceremony.
Due to it's lowest number in loss and destruction, the European Pack has been chosen as the location for this meeting.

Already three months after the end of the war and two months before the date of gathering, things seem to change for the people. Everyone is tired of blood shedding, brutality, and conflict. Hope rises to find a person to spend their lives with and hope of a more peaceful life in general.
Aimee Murray has spent the last couple years basically living for nothing, mourning, and getting worn down, as she had already lost everything possibly important to her.

She's supposed to accompany her cousin to the gathering, as she and one of the Betas of the European Pack will go through the ceremony. At first, Aimee tried to excuse herself but in the end, she has no option but come along. She didn't expect something great to happen. Little did she know, that after this her life would never be the same again, especially with an Alpha now by her side...
