Hiroji Yukimura was the 1st seat of the 81st Elite Ten Council at Tōtsuki Culinary Academy. He was a super star of his class, considered to be one of the best of his year. After graduation he went on to be a disciple to Joichiro Yukihira before starting his own restaurant to help support taking care of his younger sister and brother. Shortly after the restaurant's grand opening someone breaks in and shoots Hiroji. Causing the young chef to fall into a coma. 

Runa Yuikmura was originally part of the 91st generation at Tōtsuki Culinary Academy, until she dropped out to take better care of her younger brother, Isao, after her older brother Hiroji was shot and hospitalized. But with encouragement from Isao and help from Soma Yukihira, she has the possibility of returning to the school.

Isao Yukimura is part of the 92nd generation at Tōtsuki Culinary Academy. Considered to be the weakest of the male students by his peers because of his appearance, Isao is a force to be reckoned with. Inspired by both his older siblings he wants to join the family restaurant that his brother started.

Three talented youngsters of the Yukimura family, one who's made his mark, two who are still trying. Intending to make Tōtsuki Academy remember who their family is.
